My name is Charu Makhijani. I am Data and Machine Learning Professional with over 16 years of industry experience in Financial, E-Commerce and Retail domains. I am passionate about Artificial Intelligence tech and its impact on the future of our society. I am an insanely curious person who always seek out to meet new people with unique interests.

At present I am working as a Senior Engineering Leader in Data Analytics and Machine Learning with one of the top US bank. In past, I have worked with other financial firms like UBS, JPMC and State Street and retail companies like eBay, Enterprise Holdings and DPSG. My area of interest are- Predictive Modeling & Analysis, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing/Generation and Product Engineering. Over the years I have successfully created data pipelines for various business areas like Digital Marketing, Customer Analytics, Anomaly Detection, NLP, Growth Analytics, Business Performance Reporting, Risk & Compliance.

I was born and raised in the beautiful Pink City Jaipur, India. I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from JECRC College (affiliated with Rajasthan University, India) and an online Masters Degree in Information Technology from Symbiosis University.

I am an avid reader and most of the time I see myself reading something or the other. Apart from reading, in my spare time I like travelling and cooking.
